The Learning Center
Welcome
to the Learning Center, the distinguished center of academic support
that's celebrated among the most popular "study spots" on campus. Each
year, hundreds of students make the LC their center of academic life,
coming both to consult our tutors on homework questions and to team up
with other students facing the same challenges as themselves.
Tutoring
It is our
philosophy that students learn best when they study together; some of
the best exchanges of ideas and insight occur in peer-driven settings.
That's why we employ over 20 talented students in math and writing to
offer their insight, support, and tips on studying. More about tutoring
The Testing Center
The Testing Center is an important part of the
Learning Center where students can take exams from distance courses,
national organizations, and even UAS classes. More about testing
The Think Tank
The Learning Center has a hip new student
lounge called The Think Tank. Room Egan 105 (on the bottom floor of
the library, near the bathrooms) is designated for student use and is
outfitted with computers, nice couches, lamps, and even a small
kitchen. Periodically, The Learning Center offers math and writing
