UAS announces new AAS degree in Maritime Transportation
Many of the courses in the program are offered via e-Learning or in shorter intensive courses to accommodate working mariners or military personnel. Program students complete assigned projects and gain experience working onboard a vessel.

Egan Library to Host Exhibit "Native Voices: Native Peoples’ Concepts of Health and Illness"
Free and open to the public, the traveling exhibition, produced by the National Library of Medicine, explores the connection between wellness, illness, and cultural life through a combination of interviews with Native people, artwork, objects, and interactive media.

Alaskan author will speak about his book, a nonfiction account of the tragic 1967 Wilcox Expedition.
