The UAS Juneau Campus is hosting its 9th annual Campus Kickoff this Friday, August 30 from 3:00 to 5:30 pm in the Mourant Courtyard. This event welcomes students to campus and features games, music, food, giveaways, and a chance for students to learn about student organizations and opportunities for engagement in the Juneau community! Community organizations that would like to host a booth are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.

Headed up by the UAS Campus Life team, Campus Kickoff celebrates the beginning of the new academic year. The event facilitates students' connections with each other, student organizations, and the UAS community through festive and interactive entertainment, information, and social experiences.

Community groups benefit from participating in the event for a variety of reasons. It is a good opportunity to recruit members and volunteers, to promote goods and services, provide informational materials and resources, gain new customers, and recruit potential employees.

Late registrations for community booths continue to be accepted until August 29, pending space availability. Community groups can register using the UAS Campus Kickoff 2019 Registration form. For more information, contact the UAS Student Activities Board office at 796-6325.
