Certification
Secondary Education

Students wishing to receive teacher certification in middle grades and secondary education, must first complete a B.A. or B.S. degree in their content area. This requires particular course choices required for teaching in different content areas so early advising is essential. Upon completion of the Bachelor's degree, the student is eligible to apply for the 12 month Master of Arts in Teaching program.
