Campus Visit
Would you like a tour of campus, see where your class(es) are? Fill out our tour request form and we will set up a tour to show you around. A visit in person is always the best way but you can also take a virtual tour!
See the Juneau campus in action, from classrooms to the Student Recreation Center. You can talk with professors or advisors in your area of interest to see if the curriculum is a good match for you. Get the inside scoop from students on things like sharing a room, social activities and academic life on campus. You can even sit in on a class to see if you feel comfortable in our small classroom environment.Your visit can include:
- A student-led campus tour, offered Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm
- Private appointments with academic advisors, professors and financial aid counselors
- Classroom and lab visits
- Staying overnight in campus housing (space available). One night maximum stay available with host students.
Visit Checklist:
- Choose a date to visit
- Contact the Student Resource Center to schedule your visit (please provide us with a minimum of two weeks advance notice to make your on-campus arrangements)
- Call 2–3 days before your visit to confirm your tour schedule
- Arrive on time for your appointments
- If you are delayed or cancel your visit, please call to inform us
- Enjoy your stay at UAS!
Keep in Mind:
- With adequate advance notice, 2 weeks prior to visit, we can arrange appointments for you
- A weekday visit when classes are in session gives you the best idea of what it's like to be a UAS student
