Welcome to the University of Alaska Southeast Pathways Homepage. There are many pre-college pathway opportunities available at UAS. This Website is the clearinghouse for information about most of them.
In order to be successful in today's economy, most young people will need at least some postsecondary training. UAS offers a wide range of academic and career and technical programs that are designed to equip students with the skills necessary to be competitive in the workforce.
Unfortunately, the majority of college freshmen across the nation are not prepared for college level course work. Most universities and colleges have dedicated a significant amount of resources to developmental education programs in an effort to address the college readiness problem. UAS is going a step further by intentionally developing more college pathways for high school students.
Some immediate opportunities include the Early Scholars program, dual enrollment courses, the PITAAS Summer Institute and SEA Weekend. Please browse this Website to learn more about these and other exciting programs.
