Rydell and Glacial Ridge NWR Summer Internships through the Student Conservation Association

This summer Rydell and Glacial Ridge NWR will be hiring 5 summer interns. Each internship will have a general area of focus being either hydrology, wildlife and habitat surveys, invasive species, or visitor services.  While each position typically gets experience within all areas, you can look at each internships description that is being advertised now through the Student Conservation Association (SCA).  You can view and apply for the positions by visiting the website: http://www.thesca.org/serve/positions . The quickest way to find them is by typing Rydell into the keyword search, or selecting MN as the state.

In addition to hiring through the general internships with SCA, we will also be hiring through the SCA's Career Discovery Internship Program (CDIP). The CDIP program is geared towards students who are in their first or second year of schooling and are still somewhat unsure of where they'd like to end up in the world of natural resources.

Feel free to forward this information to others who may be interested in these positions.  Please contact Trina Brennan (x16, trina_brennan@fws.gov) orJessica Dowler (x18, jessica_dowler@fws.gov)  you have questions.
