UAS's pre-engineering certificate encompasses
30-34 course credits that include the
courses normally taken in the first year of a
four-year engineering degree. The courses
taken within the certificate can follow a
general engineering track, or they can be tailored
to meet the requirements of a specific
degree for a particular engineering school.
Students can then transfer to an engineering
school of their choice to complete their engineering
degree. Pre-engineering students
work closely with their advisor to choose
their courses and to ensure they meet the
prerequisites for each course.
