They couldn't understand what I was talking about and I was talking in Tlingit. The next morning same thing. I talked to the teacher in my own language.

But what my dad did just exploded all through Southeastern Alaska. And that's my experience of going to first grade or kindergarten. I don't know was that, yeah, kindergarten, yeah. You know at that time you and I were so poor; we could never afford hair oil.
