Certificate in Automotive Technology
The Certificate in Automotive Technology is a one-year vocational training program designed to prepare individuals to secure entry-level employment in positions requiring basic technical skills. Upon graduation, students will be eligible for employment in automotive dealerships, fleet service operations, independent and franchise repair shops, and national chain automotive service stores. Students expecting to gain employment in this industry will need a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and a personal toolbox meeting industry standards.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Students will be admitted to the Automotive Technology Certificate program when they have met the following requirements:
- Submission of a resume of work experiences and a letter stating why the individual wants to become an automotive technician.
- Completion of a pre-admission interview.
