Understory Vegitation Survey Student Seasonal Employment
We are still looking to hire one temporary/seasonal employee for our understory vegitation crew (lay out transects, id plants, estimate percent cover, measure slash depth, estimate biomass). The work is on Prince of Wales and Zarembo Island. Work starts 5/19, but since it's getting so late we will likely need to be flexible with the start date! Work goes to early-mid August. Student hire wouldneed to be continuing school in the Fall. Would need to submit a resume and transcripts and HR would figure out what level of "biological science tech" the person would qualify as (if still an undergrad, would likely be gs-04 or gs-03 ($13.84/hr or 12.52/hr, respectively). Doesn't need much experience, just looking for someone smart, hard worker, gets along well with others and is physically fit to get to the sites.
If interested call Troy Heithecker (586-8811 x281) or Mike McClellan (586-8811 x246).
