Three short antennae with a lateral pair inserted just below the front edges of the prostomium

Two pairs of black eyes on upper side of the prostomium

34 pairs of transparent thin scales or elytra (one pair per segment)

Ruffled margins of elytra that do not meet in the middle of the segments

 
Weakly developed , straight notosetae with hooked single-toothed tips

Weakly developed or absent, ventral cirri
