Travel (getting to Juneau)
Travel to Juneau requires a plane or a boat. There are no roads
that access this capital city.
By far the most convenient method is by air. Only Alaska Airlines can get you
to Juneau from
either Anchorage or Seattle. There are of course many options to connect you
with these 2 points,
including United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest
Airlines etc.

If you have a bit more time on your hands, you can arrive in Juneau by ferry with the Alaska Marine Highway (voted one of the United States' most scenic highways). The one way trip from Bellingham Washington to Juneau Alaska will take 2.5 days as the ferry sails through the Inside Passage. The approximate cost for an adult is $320.00 and this does not include a stateroom which can be reserved to sleep 2, 3 or 4 persons.
