Join in the one of the most compelling statehood celebrations of the year! To cap off the Alaska Historical Society's annual conference with the theme of Alaska Visionaries: Seekers, Leaders and Dreamers (taking place in Anchorage Oct. 16-18), we are hosting a statewide teleconference investigating the future of our great state. Alaska 2058: The Next 50 Years brings together a panel of experts in various topic areas such as education, the environment, arts and culture and more from 2-5pm to discuss their visions of the next 50 years in Alaska. Participants in Fairbanks, Juneau and Anchorage will be able to listen and ask questions through the wonder of teleconferencing. Join in the fun on the UAS campus in Egan 112 at 2pm on Saturday, Oct. 18. We only turn fifty once, so don't miss out! |
