Water and Wastewater Operations
The Environmental Technology Program was featured in the August 2007 edition of Journal AWWA!
The Environmental Technology program offers a fundamental background in environmental technology with an emphasis in the water and wastewater career field. The program offers Occupational Endorsements, a Certificate program, and an AAS Degree. Students successfully completing any of the three program options will be well qualified for operator positions.
The Environmental Technology Program is Alaska's only Certificate and Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) available statewide by distance delivery* through the University of Alaska SE Sitka Campus.
UAS advisors are available to help you select the courses you need. Career information, scholarship and financial aid assistance are also available.
