We will be attending the World of Work Job and Career Fair in Sitka Alaska. Look for the Fisheries Technology Program booth.
Outreach will also be conducted at the Sitka High School and the Craig High School during the Spring 2011 semester.

High School Modules
Dichotomous key module:
This module will give students the opportunity to learn how to use a dichotomous key to identify 24 Alaskan fish. All materials needed are available on the Dichotomous key page.
Freshwater System Health WebQuest Module:
The freshwater system health WebQuest module teaches students the dynamics of freshwater streams and the salmon that use them in Alaska. Developed in partnership with James Beard from the USDA Forest Service, Thorne Bay Ranger District. Follow this link to Freshwater Health WebQuest.
How to schedule a school visit with module instruction
We are pleased to ba able to do class visits. If you would like one of the Fisheries Technology Program staff to visit your classroom please let us know. We can visit your classroom in support of either module or to present about the Fisheries Technology Program.
