Intro to Environmental Health

Clint Farr is a lifelong Alaskan (mostly) with a bachelors and masters degree in Environmental Health. He has 6 years experience working with the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation working on environment and health concerns surrounding air pollution. Clint has, at one point or another, worked in environmental consulting, Americorps, bled chickens, substitute teaching, and inspecting restaurants. Clint’s professional interests lie primarily with disease control and environmental toxicology. Clint’s personal goals are to scuba dive under the arctic ice pack, write a decent poem, and make a feature length film.

Ms. Davis graduated from DePaul University in Greencastle, IN, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She recently worked as a staff RN at Peace Health in Ketchikan, Alaska and as an Instructor of Health and Safety Services in Juneau, Alaska. She is an instructor of CPR & First Aid programs and is certified by the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.

Shelley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Nursing. She has worked in a wide range of areas including Coronary Care Unit at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio; Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department at SEARHC, long-term and rehabilitative care at Sitka Community Hospital, primary care at Sitka Medical Center, and Critical Care Transport for Guardian Flight Medevac Services.

Shelley is currently obtaining a Masters degree from Frontier Nursing University in their Family Nurse Practitioner program.
