Prerequisites

Student must have completed Basic Firefighting.

Must be proficient both reading and writing in the English Language.

DescriptionCourse emphasizes marine firefighting preparedness and response leadership. Subjects include fire prevention, ship organization, damage control and stability.  Students will not engage in live firefighting exercises.  This course is USCG and STCW approved.
