The UAS/MAPTS Mine Training Center is a partnership between the UAS School of Career Education, the UAA Mine and Petroleum Training Services, the Alaska Department of Labor, and the mining industry. The Mine Training Center hosts regularly scheduled, monthly Mine Safety and Health Administration training. Rooms are available to industry partners for special training on a first come, first serve basis.

A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) For a Workforce and Economic Development Partnership Between Pacific Seaflight And the School of Career Education University of Alaska Southeast, Juneau Campus (UAS) was established which would allow PSF to operate the training school within the University structure and would allow us to place the million dollar WIG Craft Simulator un their campus. This would be the ONLY WIG Craft Training School in the world. The design of the simulation system could be programmed in the future fornews! any WIG craft training program.

UAS/UAA Nursing

UAA-UAS partnership program that provides students with a closely related mix of theory and clinical practice; students gain experience in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and community agencies. Successful graduates are able to sit for the NCLEX (RN nurse licensure exam). Cohorts are scheduled in Juneau and Ketchikan on even numbered years preceding cohort years, and in Sitka on odd numbered years.

UAS/UAA RadTech

UAS-UAA partnership program with UAA's Medical Imaging Sciences. Prepares students for careers as entry level Radiological Technicians. Students receive an Associate of Applied Science degree and are eligible to apply for certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). This program is offered in Juneau and Ketchikan beginning Fall of even numbered years. Cohort numbers are determined by clinical space.
