Description of the S.A.F.E. CAC Program:

We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals who advocate for the prevention, safety, well-being and healing of abused children.

The Child Advocacy Center Model is designed to be a safe, culturally sensitive, child-friendly environment where children and non-offending caregivers are interviewed and receive services in case of sexual and physical abuse.

Child Advocacy Centers allow professionals who investigate child abuse and those who provide treatment to come together in one place, to develop plans that ensure successful prosecution and adequate treatment, regardless of the client’s ability to pay.

The S.A.F.E. CAC serves all of the communities in Southeast Alaska.

Description of the Logo Design Project:

The S.A.F.E. CAC has made the decision to update our logo.  We thought it would be a fun idea to get the kids from the local schools in Juneau involved in the design process.  We also believe that this would be a great opportunity for a University student at UAS to assist in this project to get some practical experience in brand development and marketing, as well as project management.
