Position: Intern - Outdoor Recreation Research
Requirements: Open to all students

Six research aides are needed to work on a research project with the Western Federal Lands Division (WFL) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to:
1) Obtain information on travel (mode, experience, satisfaction) through Federal lands
2) Obtain visitor characteristics such as length of stay, transportation, and activities.

The position involves administering a survey during selected times to visitors at the research location. The positions will require some data entry.

Skills required:
• Work Independently
• Ability to follow directions
• Attention to detail
• Aptitude to interact with site visitors
• Ability to represent UAF in a professional manner
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)

Compensation is $16.15 per hour. The survey will take place from May 20, 2016 to Sep. 15, 2016.
