ADF&G Sportfish Division is looking for potential candidates for job openings during the summer of 2015 at Juneau area docks, harbors and roadside fisheries. Under the direct supervision of the Juneau Area Assistant Management Biologist, the incumbent conducts creel surveys of sport anglers in the Juneau area retuning from their sport fishing trips, collects pertinent biological data from their harvested fish as outlined by the programs sampling protocols, and interacts with the general public and his/her peers and supervisor(s) on a
professional level. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for: ensuring all genetic and coded-wire-tag samples are accounted for throughout the season, and conducting pre-season and post-season accounting and cleaning of his/her sampling equipment.
