We have a Children’s SED Mental Health program in Ketchikan, Alaska, providing services to clients of this amazing coastal community that is looking for a Children’s Mental Health Clinician to join our team.

Overview:
The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing direct program services related to mental health education and treatment. Assist the Program Manager with clinical functions, routine quality assurance, program development and direction, and compliance with accreditation standards. Provide direct clinical services including individual, group, family counseling and crisis intervention for clients as an integral part of the duties of this position.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (masters-level or doctoral-level) in psychology, social work, counseling, child guidance, nursing or similar field; or per Alaska Medicaid regulations.
  •  Prefer Alaska license as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPA.
  •  Working knowledge of treatment issues with particular emphasis on mental health, co-occurring disorder
  •  Prefer experience with IBM compatible computers and Windows, Microsoft Office
  •  Prefer three (3) years’ experience in addictions, social services, mental health or related field.

Wage: $50,000 to $55,000 DOE
