Summary: Camp High Hopes, a camp for children, teens, and adults with disabilities in Sioux City, IA, seeks camper-focused, compassionate summer staff interested in helping to facilitate a safe, fun, and fulfilling summer experience for campers of all ages.

Our summer staff helps further the camp’s mission to provide a safe, fun, and adaptive recreational experience for people with disabilities through daily interactions with campers in our Day Camp and Sleep-Away (Overnight) sessions.

Camp staff are the primary caregivers for campers with disabilities by providing needed personal care assistance and activity adaptation.

Positions include: Sleep-Away Counselors, Activity Leaders, Lifeguards, and Day Camp Counselors. Prior experience at camp and caring for people with disabilities is desired, but not required.
