Summary:

Edison Research is the firm that collects the vote totals on Election Night for National Election Pool. We are looking to hire a state reporter. The position start time is a half hour before the polls close and ends when all of the votes in your state are in. The pay is $150 for the evening.

 Election Night Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- State reporters will be our eyes and ears at their location.

- They will have their phones on them and turned on at all times.

- They will answer any questions we have pertaining but not limited to: the state feed we are collecting in our internal reporting system, election night results from any county in the state and any questions about the vote in a county/election at any time.

- Call Edison Research with any important/need to know information going on at the state office throughout the night if necessary.

- Call in election results for any county if asked by Edison Research throughout the night.

- They’ll have a checklist, a letter from Edison and the state they are working in, backup vote count sheets and rehearsal vote count sheets and a training manual.
