Summary:
Need a person to work as a deckhand on a commercial fishing gillnet boat out of Juneau. Job begins June 16, until about August 1 to 15. Primary responsibility is assisting the captain on deck with setting and hauling the net, moving fish to the fish hold, moving ice to chill fish, and assisting with unloading to tender vessels. Also responsible for cleaning vessel inside and out as needed. Will be at sea for multiple days in a row, usually about 3 days but occasionally for longer periods. Also will be required to be available to do some work while in town, e.g. moving nets and assisting with net repair. Person will need to have their own place to live in Juneau.
