Youth Employment in Parks (YEP) hires local teens to work together in Juneau city parks as a first job experience. Teens work on park improvement project including landscaping and trail work. Teens also engage in work skills development.

The Peer Mentor serves as a role model and provides support to YEP teens through their first job experience. 

This is a field position, working outdoors in all types of weather. All candidates must have a strong work ethic, be able to lift and hike up to 35 lbs. over several miles difficult terrain, and operate hand and power tools.
 
32 hours a week. Nights and Weekends off.
$16/hour June 11th -August 10th
