Career Services is an excellent resource for students and recent graduates seeking full- or part-time employment. Our staff can help you create, update and enhance your resume, improve your job search skills, and keep you abreast of local, regional and state-wide employment opportunities. An Employment & Internships bulletin board just outside the Career Services office in 102 Mourant allows students to view some of the latest position announcements.
Two useful Alaska-specific online job search resources include the Alaska Department of Labor & Workforce Development’s Labor Exchange System (ALEXSys) for a full range of private industry and state positions, and WorkPlace Alaska for a listing of local and state government position recruitments. To research federal government position openings, visit USAJOBS.com.
