My UAS Experience

After graduating from Juneau-Douglas High School in the spring of 2013, the question wasn’t if I would go to college, but where. Keeping my education local was my preferred choice, helping my school grow as well as growing personally. The Power Technologies program at UAS has taught me so much and showed me a love for mechanics I never knew I had. My experience at UAS has helped immensely in preparing me for my career path after school.

About Andrew Alderfer

In the time I’ve known Andrew, he’s been a great student, both scholastically and in our lab environment. He comes to class on time, well prepared and participates in discussions as well as immersing himself in the lab assignments. It’s been my pleasure to be involved in his education and I know with his positive attitude he will accomplish anything he sets out to do. Good luck Andrew.
