I truly believe being able to attend both campus and online courses broadened my horizons by allowing me to meet and interact with others I would have otherwise never met.

2015 Outstanding Graduate

Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education

Starla R. Agoney

My UAS Experience

I am glad I chose UAS to further my education because I was able to stay home with my 5 children and husband. I did not have to uproot my family and relocate in order to earn my Elementary Education degree. When classes were not available at the Ketchikan campus I was able to attend classes online in the comfort of my own home. I truly believe being able to attend both campus and online courses broadened my horizons by allowing me to meet and interact with others I would have otherwise never met. Meeting people through the UAS courses have been the beginning of building and increasing my professional network.
