Andrew John Nault: 2014 Outstanding Graduate — Biology
Andy was born and raised in Kodiak Alaska and spent seven years as a commercial Dungeness crab and P-cod fisherman. Before Andy came to UAS he received an AAS in Fisheries and Aquaculture from Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. He has worked for ADFG tag lab in the past and is interested in starting his own business in aquaculture someday. Besides being an avid baseball and wiffle ball player, Andy plays bass guitar and skis. Andy is one of those students who pays such great attention to detail, studies efficiently and excels in his classes. He is a curiosity-driven, serious, hard-working student with a great personality and it is always a pleasure to have him in any class.
UAS' 2014 Juneau Commencement will be held May 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the UAS Recreation Center.
Crystal Rogers is receiving her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Independent Design, focusing on the art, language, government and history of indigenous and Western societies in Alaska, with a minor in Tlingit.
