Nick Hajdukovich, is a very active and accomplished birder, and he will present a program about what he saw and learned during his visit on Middleton Island this last fall. Working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Nick spent his time on the island mist-netting for passerines and surveying for seabirds, waterfowl, and shorebirds.

02-19-2013 5:30 PM Open house to hear more about the DOT&PF proposed project to restore and rehabilitate Glacier Hwy between Lena Point and Tee Harbor. The project would provide a consistent paved width of 34 feet, with 11 foot wide travel lanes and 6 foot wide shoulders. Construction is anticipated for 2015 or later.
