HOW TO GET STARTED
If you are a member of a department needing to be added to the CMS
- Have your department head or whoever manages the website contact the I.T. Helpdesk at ( helpdesk@uas.alaska.edu ) add you to that CMS set up process. You will also be signed up for the webdev group email list so when new features are added or tips made you'll receive an email.
- Take a thorough look at this site to become familiar with what the CMS can provide. There are pages of intructional material as well as video clips to cover much of what you need to know.
- Ask your departmental site administrator for further training.
- Training is occasionally offered through the Staff Development council.
If you are a department needing to migrate to the CMS:
- Take a thorough look at this site to become familiar with what the CMS can provide.
- Contact the I.T. Helpdesk at ( helpdesk@uas.alaska.edu ) to initiate the CMS set up process. The Helpdesk will survey your current site and needs. You will also be signed up for the webdev group email list so when new features are added or tips made you'll receive an email.
