Marquam George
|
Marquam
George has been the President of blu Spruce Construction and a
General Contractor with Residential Endorsement since 1982. Marquam is
a research committee chair for the Cold Climate Housing Research Center,
a regional project manager for the Building America program in Alaska,
and a committee member of ASHRAE 62.2, Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor
Air Quality in Low-Rise Residential Buildings. He is a State of Alaska
Energy Rater and has instructed for the Alaska Building Science Network,
the Alaska Craftsman Home Program, and the American Lung Association of
Alaska.

Charlie Ross |
Charlie Ross has taught in the UAS Construction Technology Department for 6 years teaching a wide range of construction related courses. Mr. Ross' 30 year construction career has ranged from dock building to fine home restoration and finally now to teaching. Charlie's most extensive experience is in historic restoration, including overseeing the complete restoration of Montgomery Place in the Hudson Valley in New York State. Spending two and a half years as head of Contractor Sales at Don Abels Building Supply provided an invaluable experience in the supply and materials side of the construction industry. Mr. Ross also commercial fishes, and volunteers with Perseverance Theatre and the Legislature. |

Glenn Weaver |
Glenn Weaver has lived all over Alaska for the past 32 years. Mr. Weaver specializes in custom woodworking, antique restoration, commercial, marine and residential design with an unique eye for one of a kind detail. Glenn has been a professional woodworker for 23 years and owner of WoodWeavers since 1992. |

Steve Burnett |
Steve Burnett, owner of Burnett Construction, has 25 years of experience designing and building homes in Southeast Alaska. His involvement in the building industry began in 1980. The Juneau Homebuilder's Association has recognized Mr. Burnett many times as Builder of the Year. Steve has served on the Homebuilder's Board over 20 years, three times as President. He has served as President and National Director of the Alaska State Homebuilder's Association and as National Representative to NAHB from 1992-1994. He is currently Chairman of the Education Committee for the Alaska State Homebuilder's and the Chairman of the Building Advisory Committee for the City and Borough of Juneau. |

Ms. Gilcrist was
born and raised in Sacramento, California where she received an Associates
of Arts in drafting Technology. Robin moved to Hawaii in the early eighties
and completed a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii
before leaving for Alaska. Ms. Gilcrist has worked as a drafter and designer
since 1980 in California, Hawaii and Alaska, working for large architectural
firms as well as small construction businesses. Since moving to Juneau
in the fall of 1993 she has been working full-time designing custom homes,
remodels and additions.
