Once you are accepted and placed in a DDR module, you will be contacted by DDR staff. They will handle your paperwork, payment and logistics for the module.
DDR 2010 dates are June 12-24, 2011.
Course fees range from $1200 to $1600, in addition to travel to/from Juneau or Fairbanks
These three modules begin and end in Juneau, Alaska. Glacial Geomorphology and Marine Science take students to remote locations with 7 days in the field. The Environmental Engineering module will take day trips out of Juneau.
Please go to the "Apply" link on the ASRA website and apply online. You can apply for either ASRA or DDR modules.
You will receive a confirmation email when your application is received. A second email will be sent upon your acceptance into the program. If you do not receive an acceptance email, please call 907-523-2337 to confirm your contact information.
You should only apply for a module if you are willing to attend. If you are only willing to participate in one module, check that box. If you are willing to accept a second choice, check that box as well. Please be prepared to attend any module that you apply to. We try to place students in their first choice.
Please request and complete a financial aid form. We encourage students to seek funding outside of DDR since financial aid is limited.
