UAS MARINE MECHANIC OCCUPATIONAL ENDORSEMENT
This training is for the student that wants to work in the marine field of diesel powered vessels. The course content covers the different support systems as well as the diesel engine. All of the classes are at least 50% hands on to let the student practice their new skills. UAS has a wide selection of excellent training aids such as engines, marine transmissions, hydraulic components, generator sets,and many other items.
NOTE: This is not the ferry oiler program in which you can get your USCG oilers document. That is listed under OILER on the home page.
The employment possibilities could include: tour vessels, fish processors, marine generators, vessel construction and outfitting, pleasure craft, work boats, and cannery maintenance.
