Registration
Eligibility
Formal admission to a degree program is not a requirement to register for most courses offered by distance delivery. All students are expected to have met the prerequisites listed or have received permission from the instructor or program manager before registering for classes.
Placement Testing
To ensure that students are prepared for course work, students are required to take placement examinations in English, math, and computer skills before registering. Exams are given at campus Learning Centers in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka or may be arranged for students in communities without UA coordinators by web at the UAS Learning Center.
