At the Univerisity of Alaska Southeast (UAS) providing equal opportunities for students who experience disabilities is a campus-wide and regional responsibility. Academic support services constitute an integral component of equalizing the post-secondary environment for students who experience disabilities. Disability Support Services (DSS) is responsible for coordinating support services for UAS students who experience disabilities. DSS also serves as a resource; providing information to the campus community.

DSS can provide details about services and accomodations that are available to qualified students with appropriate documentation. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Disability Support Services by phone, email, by letter, or in person.
