Read and Write Gold: A software program that assists in reading, writing, and note-taking. This software can assist in taking notes and properly referencing information from the web. We now have this software available to all students in three different locations.

  1. There is a flash drive copy available for 2-hour loan periods at Egan Library. Ask for Read and Write Gold at the Egan Library, RESERVE DESK.
  2. There is a flash drive copy available at the Learning Center for students. Ask Carrie Enge, English and Writing Specialist at the Learning Center, for Read and Write Gold.
  3. We also have a copy of Read and Write Gold installed onto the DSS Student computer across from Activities and Housing in downstairs Mourant. Feel free to visit or log onto this computer if you need to use Read and Write Gold.

Egan Library has additional assistive tehnology resources available. Some of this technology includes ebrary ebooks, Gale Virtual Reference Library, and Listen Alaska.
