Timeline and Schedule of Classes

MAT Secondary Education Program (Juneau)*

All students on Juneau or Sitka Campus

Orientation to the program (requirements, staff, public school assignment, facilities) and two 2-week intensive courses.

PHASE 1, Session one: SUMMER—6 credits

Students in Internships in Host Communities

PHASE 2: FALL SEMESTER—9 Credits
(follows public school calendar)

Public School Internship. Interns will work full-time, four days per week in an assigned public school.
They will also be taking 9 graduate credits.

Continuation of Public School Internship. Interns will continue working full time, four days per week in an assigned public school.
They will also be taking 12 graduate credits:
