Application Requirements
The following items (forms available below) are necessary for a complete application:- A completed graduate application and $60 processing fee.
- Official academic transcript indicating a baccalaureate degree and a GPA of 3.0*.
*Conditional admission may be considered for slightly lower GPAs or mitigating conditions. - Two letters of recommendation on the SOE Letter of Recommendation Form.
- Field experience statement form
- Two writing assessments**
- Statement of professional goals. This is a 2 to 3 page typewritten and double spaced, formal paper containing a summary of education experiences. Statement will include:
- A description of professional goals related to what is needed to teach early childhood students;
- A statement of how the program might help in attaining those goals.
- A sample of professional or work-related writing.
- Statement of professional goals. This is a 2 to 3 page typewritten and double spaced, formal paper containing a summary of education experiences. Statement will include:
- Current teaching certificate or equivalent
- Statement of Ability to do Field Experience
