Biography: Chris Urata is the Assistant Professor with the UAA-UAS AAS in Nursing program on the Juneau campus. Ms. Urata has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Nursing from the University of Washington in Seattle. She is a twenty-one year resident of Juneau where most recently she worked as a elementary school nurse prior to working for the University. In her spare time she is a Synchronized Swimming Coach with the Juneau Aurora Knights.
