Lisa Sadleir-Hart coordinates the Community Wellness Advocate Training Program. Lisa co-teaches the "core" CWA curricula as well as the "nutrition specialty tract". Lisa holds a Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Nutrition from UC Berkeley and is a registered dietitian and certified health education specialist. She's worked as a Public Health Nutritionist and Director, Health Promotion for the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium and has found her true love in coordinating the CWA program. The CWA program was the dream child of a core group of health promoters at SEARHC who believed in building local capacity to creatively address community health issues rather than using itinerant approaches. The program weaves together Lisa's passions - the belief that local people are best suited to address community health issues, creative teaching approaches, and balancing the 4 dimensions of wellness (spiritual, social/emotional, physical and intellectual).
