Biography: Lynn has a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and for many years worked as an Instructor in the Department of Biology at Dalhousie University, research assistant for a variety of laboratory and field research projects, and medical transcriptionist in hospital health information services before earning her Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia in 1995. She was Science Librarian at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York before moving back to the west coast in 2000.    Lynn is currently fulfilling a longstanding desire to work in healthcare by participating in the UAA AAS nursing program in Juneau.  In between work, nursing studies, and keeping up with four children, you’ll find her biking, hiking, kayaking, and gardening.
