Biography: Mr. Hulstein is in his third year at UAS. He has over 20 years of teaching experience at vocational and technical levels in both private and state institutions. He has taught in Minnesota, South Dakota, Tennessee, and North Dakota. Mr. Hulstein operated his own manufacturing company for eight years, served as assistant director for a non-profit organization, and worked in public accounting for three years. After returning from serving in the Army in Vietnam, he completed his CPA in 1972. Professor Hulstein brings enthusiasm and a new dimension to the classroom with a concern for students and their future. His hobbies include fly fishing, fly tying, hunting and woodworking. (How about a professor who made all of his home furnishings!)
