Biography: In 2000 I graduated from Beaverton High School in Beaverton, Michigan. I moved here to Juneau that fall as a Freshmen here at UAS. After two years and an Associate degree later, I decided I wanted to see some of the country and take a break from school. I traveled around out West before heading back to Michigan. After a while I felt the pull to come back to Juneau. I once again made the drive up the Alaskan highway in the spring of 2003. It was here in Juneau that I met my future husband, we got married in early 2004.I went back to school earlier that Fall, this time to get my Bachelor of Business Administration. My husband and I welcomed our firstborn son in October 2005, he is adventerous and curious about everything, a true miracle.I am still working towards my bachelors degree while working full-time here at the University. Though I don't get the chance to visit my family in Michigan very often, Juneau is where my heart is and I consider this to be the best place to live!
