To help citizens prepare for Social Security, The University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus, welcomes Edward Jones financial advisor Steve Dalquist to teach a workshop on Social Security. During this seminar Steve will examine how Social Security fits into an individual’s retirement income plan, and when is the best time to start taking benefits. Steve will also explain taxes and how they may impact benefits. The class will be held at the University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus, on Wednesday, May 27 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The cost of the class is $19, and spouses may attend for an additional $10. For more information, please contact UAS at 747-7700.
