Costs

College is expensive, there is no doubt about it. But how do those costs break down?

The bare bones of attending college include:

• tuition (the cost of the class)
• fees (behind the scene stuff for the class)
• books

Other aspects that need to be included:

• room (where you will be staying)
• board (food)
• transportation (getting around to different places)
• miscellaneous expenses (going to the movies, dentist appointment, every day life stuff)

It can be hard to figure out how much you will actually spend, and because student living arrangements and personal spending habits vary widely from person to person, there is no single figure that can be used to represent the cost of attending UAS. We have created several different Cost of Attendance estimates (located in the left navigation under Budgets) to help guide you through the planning your budget for attending UAS.
