University of Alaska (UA) Grant

Eligibility:

  • Alaska resident
  • Admitted to a Degree or Certification Program
  • Must have completed the FAFSA by April 15
  • Enrolled in at least 6 or more credits
  • Completed less than 60 credits towards their undergraduate degree
  • Maintaining academic eligibility as defined by the financial aid office policy of satisfactory academic progress
  • Need based

Award amount:

  • Varies, capped at a maximum of $1,000

 

 

As with any aid, the campus the student is admitted to will offer and disburse the UA Grant as long as the student is eligible and if there are funds remaining.
