| Description: | Through donations made by many Ketchikan area businesses, the UAS Ketchikan Advisory Council provides scholarships each semester to Ketchikan residents planning to further their education at UAS Ketchikan.

| Requirements: | 1) Be a full-time or part-time (at least 6 credit hours per semester) student attending the University
of Alaska Southeast, Ketchikan campus.
2) Demonstrate motivation, academic and leadership potential in the area for which they are pursuing further education;
3) Financial need and motivation toward learning will be key factors in choosing the recipient.
4) If a continuing student, must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA).
Preference is given to students working towards vocational programs or other programs not funded by traditional federal financial aid. |
